Mission

The Canadian Tectonics Group, or CTG, is a division of the Geological Association of Canada (GAC). Our mission is to foster Canada's tectonics and structural geology research community through an annual workshop and field trip, sponsorship of the tectonics program at the GAC annual meeting, annual prizes for best paper, MSc and PhD theses, student grants and maintaining the CTG mailing list.
